Bobby Deol’s career reached new heights after he starred in ‘Animal’ as the main antagonist. The actor opened new doors for his career after appearing in a memorable role and bagged several new projects. He has now officially the Tamil film tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 69’ and will share the screen with the superstar Vijay.

The movie was announced on September 14 and the makers wrote on X, “We are beyond proud & excited to announce that our first Tamil film is #Thalapathy69, directed by the visionary #HVinoth, with music by the sensational Rockstar @anirudhofficial. The official title of ‘Thalapathy 69’ has not been announced yet. The movie is scheduled to release in October 2025.
On the work front, Bobby Deol was last seen in ‘Animal’, for which he won the award for Best Performance in a Negative Role. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles.
He will also star in the Tamil movie ‘Kanguva’ with Suriya in the lead role. Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, and K. S. Ravikumar will be seen in the pivotal roles. The movie was scheduled to release in October 2024 but its release date has now been postponed.
