The wait is nearly over for fans of Bigg Boss Tamil, as the reality show returns with its ninth edition soon. Hosted by Vijay Sethupathi for the second consecutive season, the show is set to bring drama, clashes, and entertainment. Several celebrities and notable personalities are set to enter the iconic Bigg Boss house.

- Kani Thiru: Winner of Cooku With Comali Season 2 in 2021, Kani later moved into acting, starring in the thriller web series Parachute alongside Krishna and Kishore, and appeared in the film Valli Mayil with Vijay Anton.
- Diwakar: Social media influencer Diwakar, famously known as the “Watermelon Star,” is recognized for his entertaining content.
- Aurora Sinclair: Model, content creator, and actress Aurora Sinclair has featured in music videos and short films.
- Praveen Gandhi: Director and actor Praveen Gandhi, known for films like Ratchagan, Jodi, Star, and Pulipaarvai.
- Kongu Manjunadhan: Known for his debating skills, Kongu Manjunadhan impressed audiences with his sharp arguments and also acted in Kavundampalayam alongside Bigg Boss Tamil 8 contestant Ranjith.
- VJ Parvathy: Popularly called VJ Paaru, Parvathy is a television host.
- Vinoth Babu: Television actor Vinoth Babu, remembered for Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Naanum and Thendral Vandhu Ennai Thodum, also won Mr and Mrs Chinnathirai Season 2.

When and where to watch Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9?
The grand premiere is set for October 5, 2025, and fans can catch the show streaming on JioHotstar as well as airing simultaneously on Vijay TV. Ahead of the launch, the platform teased viewers with, “Paaka paaka dhaan puriyum, poka poka dhaan theriyum. (You will understand only by watching, and you will realize as it goes on.)”
