New Delhi: Pooja Bhatt was introduced as a panellist on Bigg Boss OTT 2 when she appeared. However, before the end of the broadcast, it was confirmed that the actress would be a contestant in the BB OTT 2 house. Mahesh Bhatt, the actress’ father, responded to her appearance on the show a few days after she appeared on the show.
In an interview, he said, “Life’s greatest adventures begin when we step into the realm of the unknown with courage and curiosity. She has done just that. I admire her audacity.”
Meanwhile, Pooja Bhatt admitted that she was an alcoholic in the past on a recent episode of BB OTT 2.
“I recognized that I had a drinking problem. That’s why I openly shared my addiction and my decision to quit drinking. Because in our society, addiction and recovery are considered a man’s territory. Men are given the license to openly discuss alcohol addiction and recover,” said Pooja.
The actress further mentioned, “However, women are discouraged from openly drinking and therefore, their recovery remains hidden. I used to drink openly, so when I decided to recover from alcoholism, I realized that I shouldn’t do it secretly.”
