‘Bigg Boss’ is officially returning with its brand new season, and the excitement among fans is off the roof. The makers have released a fun promo and confirmed that superstar Salman Khan will return as the host. Apart from promo, the premiere date of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ is also out.

‘Bigg Boss 19’ will premiere on Colors TV and JioHotstar on August 24, 2025, at 10:30 PM.
Sharing the promo, the official Instagram page of Colors TV wrote, “Khel ka taana-baana badal gaya hai… Iss baar Bigg Boss mein banegi gharwaalon ki sarkaar! Dekhiye #BiggBoss19, 24th August se, raat 10:30 baje, sirf #Colors aur @jiohotstar par.”

There have been a lot of rumours on social media about celebrities being approached to participate in ‘Bigg Boss 19’. Amaal Malik, Faisu Malik, Apoorva Mukhija, and Dhanashree Verma, and actors Rati Pandey and Bhavika Sharma are rumoured to appear in ‘Bigg Boss 19’.
Popular television actress Khushi Dubey earlier confirmed that she has been approached for the show. While speaking to India Forums, Khushi revealed, “Yes, it is true, I have been approached for the show. Let’s see, talks are going on, nothing is confirmed as of now. Abhi bas baat chal rahi hai.”
The official names of the celebrities participating in ‘Bigg Boss 19’ have not been announced yet.
All the seasons of ‘Bigg Boss’ usually aired for three months, but this season is expected to expand to five months. According to a report by SCREEN, the Sikandar star will host ‘Bigg Boss 19’ only for three months, and celebrities like Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Anil Kapoor are likely to step in later.
Karan Veer Mehra won ‘Bigg Boss 18’ with Vivian Dsena as the first runner-up. Avinash Mishra, Rajat Dalal, Esha Singh and Chum Darang were also in the finale.
