‘Bigg Boss 19’ saw its new entry as Malti Chahar arrived in the house as a wild card contestant. She has changed the dynamics inside the house, with some contestants welcoming her, while others showcasing their doubts. In a new promo, Tanya Mittal was seen asking about how she is perceived outside the house, and Malti had a blunt reply.
Malti did not hold herself back by calling out Tanya’s exaggerated and conflicting claims about her lavish lifestyle. She tells Tanya that the audience is slowly picking up on her claims, and the details about her life have been surfacing on social media. For instance, Tanya has claimed that she only wears a saree, but people reportedly saw her old pictures where she wore a mini-skirt. Malti further questioned Tanya’s struggles.
About Malti Chahar:
According to Malti’s Instagram, she is an actor, writer and director. She has also participated in Miss India, where she won the title of Miss India Earth in 2009 and Miss Photogenic at Femina Miss India Delhi 2014. She is the sister of ace Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar, who also appeared in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode to introduce Malti as the wild card contestant.
According to News18, she did her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Agra and graduated as a software engineer from the Institute of Engineering and Technology in Lucknow.
Talking about her acting, Malti made her debut in the 2017 short film ‘Manicure’ and also starred in the Bollywood film ‘Genius’. She turned director for her film ‘O Maaeri’.
Apart from Malti and Tanya, there are 13 contestants in Bigg Boss 19. Gaurav Khanna, Shehbaz Badesha, Amaal Mallik, Ashnoor Kaur, Zeishan Qadri, Baseer Ali, Abhishek Bajaj, Kunicka Sadanand, Pranit More, Nehal Chudasama, Mridul Tiwari and Farhana Bhatt are currently inside the house. Host Salman Khan announced no eviction this week.
