Salman Khan’s Salary For Bigg Boss 19

According to reports, Salman will earn between Rs 120 to Rs 150 crores for hosting this season. With the show running for 15 weeks, this translates to about Rs 8 to 10 crores every weekend.

This is notably lower than his previous seasons as Salman reportedly took home Rs 250 crores for Bigg Boss 18, Rs 200 crores for Bigg Boss 17, and Rs 96 crores for Bigg Boss OTT 2.

Why The Pay Cut?

According to a reports, the Sikandar star will host ‘Bigg Boss 19’ only for three months, and celebrities like Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Anil Kapoor are likely to step in later. Talking about the premiere, a few politicians will reportedly join the special segment.

The reason for this change is that Salman is busy shooting his upcoming film Battle of Galwan, which will take place during the second half of the Bigg Boss season.

‘Bigg Boss 19’ will premiere on August 24 on Colors TV at 10:30 PM and at 9 PM on JioHotstar.

This year, the theme of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ is ‘gharwaalon ki sarkaar’ as the house will have democracy. However, the makers have not revealed how this theme is going to play out in the show. An assembly room has been included in the house as well.
