Bigg Boss 19: Amaal Mallik makes shocking remarks about his father Daboo Malik, calls him a….

Amaal Mallik’s remark calling his father a “failure” during a nepotism debate on Bigg Boss 19 has ignited a wave of criticism online.

Bigg Boss 19 has been keeping viewers hooked with constant drama and heated arguments. The house turned tense after a sharp fight broke out between music composer Amaal Mallik and actor Gaurav Khanna over nepotism. What started as a normal discussion about privilege in the industry got serious when Amaal called his father Daboo Malik a “failure” and described himself as a result of “reverse nepotism.” His comment quickly sparked strong reactions on social media.

During the debate, Gaurav argued that born insiders often receive their first opportunity far sooner than those without connections. “Jahan tumhara struggle shuru hota hai, wahaan hamara aspiration hai (Our aspirations lie where your struggle starts)” he said. Amaal countered that his family had faced the same struggles as any outsider, “Ussi tarike se jaise ek common man khada hai Mehboob studio ke bahar, mera bhai aur mom khade rahe, koi difference nahi tha (My mom and my brother was standing outside the Mehboob studio as others do, there was no difference).”

Gaurav pointed out that Amaal still had an advantage because his family name helped him reach someone like Salman Khan something outsiders might wait years for. Amaal tried to defend his brother Armaan’s struggles, but Gaurav and Malti clarified that they were only talking about the advantage of getting the first break, not denying anyone’s hard work.

Things became tense when Amaal said his father had “failed” in life and that he and Armaan were “products of reverse nepotism.” He said, “Mere papa ko kabhi Anu Malik ka support mila he nahi, hum reverse nepotism ke product hain sir. Daboo Malik was a failure and I have no problem in admitting it. My father failed. (My father didn’t get any support from Anu Malik. We are a product of reverse nepotism).”

Online users criticized Amaal for dragging his father’s setbacks into the argument, with many calling it “disrespectful” and “pathetic.” Comments accused him of belittling his own parent to justify his stance on national television.

Meanwhile, the show continues to intensify. After Mridul Tiwari’s surprise mid week eviction, the remaining contestants are Gaurav Khanna, Malti Chahar, Shehbaz Badesha, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, Ashnoor Kaur, Kunickaa Sadanand, Farrhana Bhatt, and Pranit More. The grand finale is scheduled for December 7, airing on JioCinema at 9 pm and Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
