The task to choose one of Bigg Boss 18’s finalists was recently held, which saw Chum Darang and Vivian Dsena competing fiercely against each other. Amid the battle, things turned violent as Chum used full force to win the game, leaving Vivian with no other option but to retaliate. This resulted in Chum getting hurt and later breaking down. Though no one took the ticket to the finale, the incident sparked a lot of discussion inside the house.
The new promo released by the Bigg Boss 18 makers shows Vivian approaching Chum and apologizing for his actions. He explains that hurting her was never his intention, but rather a part of the task. “You know I never intended to hurt you. I’m not trying to make you feel bad. I did what any brother would do. This is my apology to you,” he told Chum.
The actions in turn hurt Eisha Singh and Avinash Mishra, who played the game on behalf of Vivian and rooted for his victory. The promo sees Eisha complaining about the same. “I feel like a fool. I did it for him. This is pathetic. Don’t expect me to be with you ever. Maine ek insaan ke liye itni mehnat kari thi..kis liye? kya galat hua tha. Mazaak thodi hai finale week.”
She later tells Rajat, “Ek baar bhi Vivian ne aisa kuch nahi kara jo galat tha. Main bhi toh ladki hun, main khud bolti warna. Kyu maine mehnat kari is insaan ke liye.”
Rajat and Avinash also agreed with Eisha and added, “Abhi tak hum Vivian ke liye khel rahe the. Pr ab mat socho. Yha sab contestants mahaan banne aaye hain. Main India ke saamne mahaan banna chaahta hu. main mature aadmi hu, main 20 saal se kaam kar raha hu. Main colors ka laadla hu. Main Mahaan hu.”

Observing the entire scene from the outside, many fans of Bigg Boss took to the comment section and shared their opinion. Most of them felt that Vivian did not have to apologize for his actions as he was just playing the game. “There was no need to apologise #VivianDsena to #ChumDarang. They are players and they were playing as equals,” read one comment.
Many also pointed out that Chum was using equal force and physical strength to stop him and hence it was wrong to play the woman card when she got hurt. “You got a taste of your own medicine.
