Bigg Boss 18 Nominations Special: The latest promo of Bigg Boss Season 18 promises a lot of drama in the upcoming episode. The video clip shows Bigg Boss assigning Karanveer Mehra, Avinash Mishra and Eisha Singh a task to shortlist one contestant who will live in prison along with Hema Sharma and Tajinder Bagga. The trio unanimously decides to submit Gunaratna Sadavarte’s name.
However, things did not go as smoothly as it sounds as Gunaratna lost his cool and rebelled against the decision. Even though co-contestants tried to explain how it’s not a punishment or a torture, the advocate did not seem to understand. “Main abhi quit krdunga, par jail main nahin jaaunga,” he shouts. Things went out of hand when he declared a hunger strike. “Maine ann aur paani tayaag dia hai aur ye national television par jaaega,” he was heard saying.
Though his reactions seem quite intense, people appreciated the contestant for taking a stand. Netizens also mentioned how it could be triggering for him as he previously spent time in jail in real life. For the unversed, Gunaratna was arrested and jailed for his alleged role in striking MSRTC employees attacking the residence of NCP chief Sharad Pawar, and spent 18 days in the Arthur Road Jail.
Gunaratna’s heated argument with Karan Veer Mehra
During the first nomination task, Bigg Boss asked every contestant to name one person they would like to nominate. Karan Veer pointed out Gunaratna and commented, “Ye kisi aur hi game me khel rahe hain.” In retaliation, the advocate said that he does not even know who Karan Veer is. The argument soon caught heat.
