Bigg Boss 18: Reality show Bigg Boss always creates a lot of buzz and this time too, the excitement among fans is on another level. Ahead of the season 18, speculations about the contestants were rife and one name from the list was that of Nia Sharma. However, breaking hearts of her fans, Nia clarified that there is no truth about the news.  

Taking to her social media handle, the actor posted a story that read, “To the fans and well-wishers I have disappointed, Sorry. Truly been overwhelmed for the tremendous support, lovee and crazy hype! Almost made me realise what I have earned in the last 14 years. Can’t say I didn’t enjoy the hype and attention. But please don’t blame me. It wasn’t me.”

While Nia never confirmed her participation in Bigg Boss Season 18, she did not deny it either. And this has upset her fan following. Soon after she posted the story, people thronged the comment section of her old photos and videos and expressed disappointment. One of them wrote, “Disappointment with Nia she broke her fans heart. She shouldn’t accepted the unwanted publicly stunt by BB makers.” One asked to take back the support given to her and wrote, “apne lakho fans ki feelings ka majak bana diya..jhoot bolkar..jab nahi aana tha to rohit shetty ke samne hi mana karti na…unfollow her”. Another shared, “Femous hone ke liya kitna bara jhut felate ho Nia Sharma nahi jana tha to pehle hi bol dete fans ki sat Natak karte ho ho na , notanki baz nikle tumbi jo femous hone k liye kuch bi kar sakta ha.”

Speculations started when Rohit Shetty made the announcement about her participation during the finale of Khatron ke Khiladi. A day later, Nia posted a message on Instagram saying that she will not be giving any interviews related to the show. “Hi there! Please don’t call or text me to ask anything about the Bigg Boss thing. Mujhe maaf kardo. Mein nahi reply karugi.” Even then, it was not clarifies if she will be part of Bigg Boss or not.

Bigg Boss Season 18 will start premiering from October 6.
