Last night’s episode of Bigg Boss 18 saw the eviction of Chaahat Pandey, just a week before the finale. Although her eviction drew criticism from viewers who felt she deserved a spot in the top 5, it was too late to change the outcome. The remaining contestants – Vivian Dsena, Karan Veer Mehra, Shilpa Shirodkar, Chum Darang, Eisha Singh, Avinash Mishra, and Rajat Dalal – will continue to compete.
In the upcoming episodes, the show will feature esteemed media personalities who will engage in hard-hitting conversations with the contestants, putting them in a challenging position with their questions. A promo for the episode has created a stir on social media, sparking discussions everywhere. Here are five key points that stood out:
Eisha Singh Criticised For Gossiping Nature
Eisha Singh was questioned by a journalist about her gossiping nature. The journalist asked her if they should call her “Chugli Aunty” considering her nature of talking about every and any contestant inside the house behind their back. It is to be noted that Eisha and her group, which includes Avinash Mishra, Alice, and later was joined by Vivian Desena, has been trolled time and again for being involved in backbiting. The journalist’s question was a reference to her constant involvement in gossiping and spreading rumours about her fellow contestants. She was also criticised by the media for having a backward thinking and old school mindset.
Shilpa Shirodkar Slammed For Having No Self Respect
Shilpa Shirodkar faced scrutiny for her persistent behavior towards Vivian Desena, despite his clear disinterest in forming a connection with her. A journalist pointed out how Shilpa has no self-respect in the house, as she has been running behind Vivian, asking for an apology even in the fourteenth week, despite Vivian telling her that he does not wish to form any kind of connection with her or stay in touch outside the house. The journalist then points out that it’s Bigg Boss and not a show to be saints.
Rajat Dalal Questioned For Threatening Behaviour
Rajat Dalal was confronted about his threatening behavior towards contestants, contradicting his claims of wanting to show his real self and create a better image. A journalist asked Rajat if he has no fear about being perceived as aggressive while threatening people. The journalist’s question was in reference to Rajat’s behavior inside the house, where he has been involved in several altercations and has threatened fellow contestants about taking the fight outside the house.
Chum Darang’s Position in Top 5 Questioned
Chum Darang was taken aback when a journalist expressed the outside world’s opinion that she didn’t deserve to be in the top seven. The journalist suggested that Karan Veer Mehra’s support helped her reach this far. Chum Darang has been playing a strong game, but the journalist presented the unanimous opinion outside the house, which feels that it was Chum Darang’s association with Karanvir Mehra that pushed her into the top seven.
Vivian Dsena’s Contribution Highlighted
Vivian Desena was questioned by a journalist if he really thinks he deserves to be the winner of the game. Vivian in turn asked the journalist if he could manage to become his Ladla or not. To which, journalist replied with a wit that he failed to do so and he has never taken a stand for himself and that he is not emerged out to be the contestant the strong contestant that everybody expected him to be. This left Vivian surprised.
