Bigg Boss 18 contestant Karan Veer Mehra has sparked outrage on social media after he allegedly manipulated statements made by Rajat Dalal about his family. The controversy unfolded when journalist Saurabh Dwivedi entered the Bigg Boss house and engaged Rajat in an in-depth conversation.
During the conversation, Saurabh asked Rajat whether or not he stays with his family. He replied, “Main parivaar ke saath rehta hu par aap asal mein parivaar ke saath kitna time bita paate hoge. ek ghanta ya do ghanta. Humaare generation aisi hogai hai na ki kaam me itna ghus jaati hai ki unko time nahi de paati. Par maine bhi samay ke saath dekha ki maa baap ko samay dena chaiye.” Karan Veer Mehra and Chaahat Pandey were made to hear the entire interview.
Karan Veer then seized upon certain aspects of their discussion, twisting Rajat’s words to create a misleading narrative that he presented to the other contestants. He was heard saying, “Maa-baap sharminda hain isse bahut. Baaki sab acche background se hain. Khud hi bola ye aisa ki main aisa nalayak nikal aaya hu.”
Rajat Dalal’s Parents Hits Back
The controversy surrounding Karan Veer Mehra’s manipulation of Rajat Dalal’s statements has escalated, with Rajat’s family expressing outrage over the incident. A video featuring Rajat’s mother has gone viral on social media, in which she strongly condemns Karan’s actions, slamming him for his dishonest and hurtful behavior. “Main toh bahut accha feel karti hu. Main chaahti hu mere jaisa beta sab ka ho, jisne hum sab ka naam roshan kar rkha hai. Karan Veer ye kya negativity phelaa rahe hain aap. Mujhe bahut bura laga ye dekh kar. Kal jab uska interview hua, aur usne (Karan) andar aakar kitna bada jhoot bola,” she said.
Another member of Rajat’s family also added to that and said, “Hume bahut proud hai Rajat par. Kayi peediyon me aisa baccha aata hai, jo poori duniya me apne khandaan ka naam roshan karta hai.”

Rajats fans were upset after the issue was not brought up by host Farha Khan during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. “Ab yahi baat koi weekend ki vaar pe nhi karga koi this is the main difference,” wrote one person, to which another replied, “BB just wants content from Rajat that’s it..they doesn’t care whatever is Said and will be Said about him and his life.”
