This season saw many ups, downs, controversies and drama and also witnessed some beautiful bonds. However, the show got called out for being ‘biased’ several times by the contestants and the viewers.
As you wait for Bigg Boss 18 Grand Finale, check top five moments reasons why this season was called ‘biased’ and ‘partial’.
When Avinash Mishra Was Upset Over No Eviction:
Avinash Mishra had accused the makers of Bigg Boss 18 of being biased towards Karan Veer Mehra. Host Farah Khan had announced no eviction in that week and this made Avinash visibly upset. He openly called out the makers of ‘Bigg Boss 18’ and said, “Openly bol do na. Whenever their lot is nominated, you want to play the ‘no eviction’ card. Just say it directly. Itne bewakoof nahi hai. Ever since he was called to the confession room, you all have started this no-eviction plan. Eliminations will happen only when one of us are nominated. I can not talk about it anymore.”
His statement also received support from the viewers as many were annoyed over no eviction for two weeks.
Sara Arfeen Khan’s Accusations Towards Vivian And Bigg Boss
During a ‘Time God’ task in ‘Bigg Boss 18’, Sara Arfeen Khan lashed out at the makers and ‘sanchalak’ Vivian Dsena for doing partiality. She accused Vivian of favouring his friends Eisha Singh, Alice Kaushik and Avinash Mishra in the last and said, “Liars, jhoothe log, jhooth pe jhooth horaha.. Partiality par partiality horaha hai..”
She added, “Mujhe pata nahi tha Bigg Boss itna partiality karta hai… kabse kar raha hai partiality. (I didn’t know that Bigg Boss is so biased… it’s been showing favoritism for a long time now). These two girls (Eisha and Alice) are lying standing in front of me. Main bhi apne bacchon ko chod ke aayi hoon, I’ve also sacrificed a lot. All are liars.”
Digvijay Rathee’s Shocking Mid-Week Eviction:
Digvijay Rathee entered Bigg Boss 18 as the wild card contestant and soon became a strong contender. However, he was eliminated from the house by the contestants in the shocking mid-week eviction. He was placed at the bottom among other nominated contestants and had to leave the show. His eviction did not sit well with the viewers, who again accused Bigg Boss 18 of being biased towards some contestants.

Eisha Singh In Top 6
The question about the makers being biased were raised when the top six finalists were announced. Usually, the other seasons of Bigg Boss had only top five. Amid this, the reports of Eisha Singh paying 30 per cent of her fees to secure her place in finale surfaced on the internet. But her family and team quickly denied these allegations.
Kashish Kapoor’s Controversy With Avinash
Kashish Kapoor was also the wild card contestant and got evicted a few weeks before the finale. In an interview with India Today Digital, she openly called the show biased and said, “I could feel the bias every day. And now that I am out, I can see the bias in terms of how much screen space one gets on the show.” For the unversed, she got into a controversy with Avinash and thought that the makers and Salman Khan favoured Avinash over her.
