Bigg Boss 18: Ekta Kapoor Schools Rajat Dalal For Hurling Abuses At Elders

Makers of the reality show recently released a new promo, which shows Ekta bringing up the topic of respect and slamming Rajat.

Rajat Dalal

The upcoming episode of Bigg Boss 18 will see Ekta Kapoor taking charge of pointing out contestants’ flaws and teaching them a lesson. The same was done to Rajat Dalal, who has been creating chaos in the house for the past week. The makers of the reality show recently released a new promo, which shows Ekta bringing up the topic of respect and slamming Rajat.

She starts by asking Rajat, “‘Aap bolte ho aap aurton ko respect karte ho. Jab bhi koi ladki par aanch aati hai, aap bolte ho, ladki par koi aankh nahi uthaaega. Par jab aapko gussa aaega toh aap hi disrespect dedoge kya?'” (You say you respect women. Whenever a girl is disrespected, you say, ‘No one will dare to raise their eyes at her.’ But when you get angry, will you yourself disrespect her?)”

Rajat tries to interrupt and says, “Gusse me wo hojaata hai”, to which Ekta replies, “Gusse me toh aapki izzat chali jaati hai.”

During the past week, Rajat was slammed by several housemates, including Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh, Vivian Dsena, Shrutika Raj, and Shilpa Shirodkar, for hurling abuses not just at them but also at their parents. Ekta points this out and mentions how Indian culture emphasises respecting elders.

“Aapne agar mere pita ka naam bhi liya hota, toh main ghar ke andar aati aapko samjhaane aur sikhaane ki kya matlb hota hai us baat ka (If you had even mentioned my father’s name, I would have come inside the house to teach you and make you understand the implications of what you said.)”

One of the many fights that turned ugly was with Vivian and Avinash. Addressing this, Ekta says, “Jab aap kisi se dushmani karte ho toh aap apne se bade insaan se karte ho ya apne se equal insaan se karte ho. Agar koi khada hai aapke saamne aur aapko pata hai ki aap usko maaroge toh wo gir jaaega. (When you make an enemy of someone, you do it with someone superior to you or equal to you. If someone is standing before you and you know you can defeat them, won’t they fall?)”

Rajat quips that he does not care about the other person’s weight or physique, which further annoys Ekta. “Jab aap aisa karte ho toh aap koi top nahi ban rahe. Aap apna dabaav dikhaa rhe ho, dushmani nahi. (When you do this, you’re not becoming superior. You’re just showing your influence, not enmity)”

After Ekta Kapoor, filmmaker Rohit Shetty and Salman Khan will also join the contestants to discuss the issues of the week. Looking at the major incidents that happened, they might talk to Sara Arfeen Khan about her violent behavior, as well as Chaahat Pandey for always playing the victim card in the house.
