A video clip from Elvish Yadav’s podcast teaser featuring Rajat Dalal, Bigg Boss 18 contestant, has recently sparked controversy. In the viral clip, Rajat was seen making a nasty remark about his co- contestant Eisha Singh, whom he considers his sister. He said, “Bhai, log aise ladkiyon se shaadi isliye karte hain, taa ki maid ki zaroorat na padhe. Bartan badhiya maaj degi na.” (People marry such girls so they don’t need a maid. They can wash utensils.)
Eisha Singh Reacts To Rajat’s Comment
Eisha Singh has now addressed the viral clip in Siddharth Kannan’s interview, stating that she prefers to handle personal matters privately. Speaking to him, she said, “If I don’t like something, I will tell him in private with respect. I won’t publicly say that he did this or that.”
Eisha admitted that she had seen the clip but avoid making any assumptions as it was just a promo cut. She also highlighted that the video was meant for roasting and shouldn’t be judged without any context.
‘I Was A Little Hurt’- Eisha On Rajat’s Words
When asked how Rajat Dalal’s comment affected her, Eisha admitted, “Halka sa hurt hua kyunki shayad main nahi bolti wo cheez. But again, wo roasting video tha.” (I was a little hurt because maybe I wouldn’t have said that, but it was a roasting video.)
She also revealed that Rajat Dalal tried reaching out to her after the video went viral across social media. She expressed that “Unhone baat karni chahi aur main thodi si gussa thi.” (He wanted to talk, and I was a little upset.) However, she made it very clear that their sibling-like bond remains unaffected despite the controversy.
Eisha Stands By Her Bond With Rajat
Despite the backlash, Eisha remained still that she won’t cut ties with Rajat over the remarks. She stated, “Maine bhai bol diya hai to bhai maanungi.” (Since I have called him my brother, I will always consider him one.)
Eisha ended the conversation by saying that she will understand Rajat’s comments better once the full episode is out. “Nok-jhok lifetime chalti rahegi.” (Our banter will continue forever.)
