Makers of Bigg Boss 18 decided to up the glamour quotient by introducing three wild card contestants namely Edin Rose, Aditi Mistry and Yamini Malhotra, last week. While all three made an effort to get settled in the house, last night’s episode confirms that one of them will be evicted. This will result in a double eviction in the house, with one of the wildcards and another from the nominated contestants of this week facing elimination.
The aforementioned episode saw Bigg Boss asking the three wild card entrants to aggressively work on building relationships within the house.
Inviting wild card contestants to the activity room, Bigg Boss said, “Bigg Boss ka ghar agar kisi me basta hai, toh wo hai rishto mein. Agar aapke is ghar me rishte hi nahi bane hain, toh aapka is ghar me rehna mushkil hai. Agar ye hafta khatam hone tak, aap teeno me se jisne bhi sabse kam rishte banaae honge, wo sadya, usi pal mere ghar se be-ghar hojaaega. (If Bigg Boss’ house is based on anything, it’s relationships. If you can’t form relationships in this house, then it’s difficult for you to survive here. By the end of this week, whoever among the three of you has formed the least number of relationships will be immediately evicted from my house).” Soon after, all three were seen making a conscious effort to interact with the housemates, form bonds and get included in already-formed groups.
For the unversed, the housemates have divided themselves in three groups – one comprising of Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh and Tajinder Bagga, second with Karan Veer Singh, Shrutika Arjun, Shilpa Shirodkar, Chum Darang and Digvijay Rathee. Third one has Kashish Kapoor, Chaahat Khanna, Aditi Mistry and Rajat Dalal.
Nominations
Monday’s episode saw Bigg Boss pitting friends against each other and making them choose between them for nominations. Shrutika Arjun and Chum Darang were seen arguing over who would get eliminated, where as Vivian Dsena was spotted taking a stand for Shilpa Shirodkar and nominating himself.
Between Tajinder Bagga and Karan Veer Mehra, there was no decision made till the buzzer rang and hence both were nominated. By the end of the task, contestants who were nominated include Shrutika Arjun, Vivian DSena, Avinash Mishra, Karan Veer Mehra, Tajinder Bagga, Sara Arfeen Khan and Kashish Kapoor.
Wild Card Contestants
In the first week after their entry, Bigg Boss asked the old contestants to choose one of the wild card entries, who would be given a special power to choose the ration for the house that week. The majority of the votes from the men in the house went to Edin Rose. This led to the other two trying harder in the following days to strengthen their bonds in the house and gain more supporters.
Now, with the sword of eviction hanging on their heads, It will be interesting to see how the three convince others to support them and save them from the upcoming eviction. However, it’s still unclear whether both evictions will happen on Weekend Ka Vaar or if one of them will leave the house mid-week.
