Bigg Boss 18: Actor Chaahat Pandey was the first contestant to join the season 18 of popular reality show Bigg Boss. The popular actor made a grand entry on ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and then joined Salman Khan on stage to talk about her journey and how she has been brought up by a single mother after losing her father at a very young age. “I come from a village. Main bahut simple ladki hu aur bahut saadgi se rahi hu. Mujhe chaahat ab bs Bigg Boss ki trophy ki,” she shares, adding that she wants to achieve everything for her mother. Before entering the house, Chaahat gifted Salman a keychain.
Shehzada Dhami also set the stage on fire with a high-octane performance on ‘Kukkad’ and left the audience asking for more. The actor then went on to share toxicity he faced on the sets of his previous show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehta Hai, and how he was thrown out of it without any prior notice. When Salman asked about the details, Shehzada shared, “They used to talk to me in a very disgraceful manner. One day, the producer shouted at me and said ‘Tu meri baat sunega, main aise hi bolunga.”
Earlier, producer of the show Rajan Shahi had revealed in an interview to Times of India that the management had to take this drastic step due to the unprofessional behaviour of Shehzada. “There is a certain humility which you need to have as an actor especially on a show like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. A lot of investment is done on the leads. It’s not a joke to cast leads. They are the important pillars of the show. We were still not very sure about casting Shehzada because his performance was not up to the mark. However, we had a telecast date so we decided to work on the performance but he his attitude was not correct. In Mahabaleshwar, a couple of incidents happened where I realised this. This is not a web show where you’ll be gone in six days. It’s a daily soap where you have to work daily. The attitude has to be correct, there should be hunger and desire for work,” he had told the interviewer.
