Who is Anniruddhacharya Maharaj?
According to the official website of Anniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj, he was born in Revjha village of Siroha tehsil of Madhya Pradesh. His father’s name is Shri Ram Naresh Tiwari and his mother’s name is Smt. Chhaya Bai. He was reportedly interested in spirituality from a young age and moved to Vrindavan to study Hindu scriptures such as the Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, and Mahabharata.
He has been going viral on social media for using humour in his teachings and has been lovingly given the name ‘Pookie Baba’ by the netizens. In 2020, he founded Annapurna Rasoi, where food is provided to around 3000 to 5000 individuals daily.
He has over 2.3 million followers on Instagram and approximately 14.9 million subscribers on YouTube.
