Abhishek Kumar and Isha Malviya, exes who were seen together in ‘Bigg Boss 17’, have been hitting the headlines due to their patch-up rumours. The rumours surfaced after they were seen together in Laughter Chefs, Pati Patni Aur Panga and now in a music video. However, Abhishek has set the record straight that he is not dating Isha and they are keeping things professional.
While speaking to Zoom, Abhishek revealed that the top people from Colors tried to convince them to work together and keep things professional. He shared, “After Bigg Boss, we got a lot of offers to work together, but we weren’t in a comfortable zone with each other due to past issues. However, when the Laughter Chefs episode came, the top people from Colors sat with us and explained that we’re professionals, and we should put our past aside and work together.”
“Bas itna dhyaan rakhte hain ki line cross nahi karni hai, kyunki karli toh barbaad hojayenge, hum milte hain bas kaam ke liye milte hain, ghar jaake bilkul baat nahi hoti, we meet, work and that’s it, (We just pay attention that we do not cross the line, because if we do then we will be ruined. We meet only for work, there is no conversation at all after that)”, he added.

In Bigg Boss 17, Isha claimed that she and Abhishek broke up due to the latter’s behaviour. Their relationship was openly discussed in the show, and things turned chaotic when Samarth Jurel, Isha’s then-boyfriend, entered Bigg Boss 17 as a wild card contestant.
Isha and Samarth also reportedly ended things after ‘Bigg Boss 17’.
Talking about working with Isha, Abhishek further told Zoom, “We considered their words and realised that we have been blessed to have work and be regular in our profession. We have been working for three and a half years, and it’s been two and a half years since Bigg Boss so, we are in a good zone now. We discussed it with our families, and they were supportive. We decided to take the opportunity and work together, maintaining a comfortable distance and not bringing up past issues.”
Before Bigg Boss 17, Isha and Abhishek worked together in the hit TV show ‘Udaariyaan’.
