New Delhi: Abdu Rozik, who has become netizens’ favourite, was announced as the first participant of Bigg Boss 16. Host Salman Khan announced him as the first candidate for the show during a press conferance. The press conference was held in Mumbai on September 27. Now let us know a bit more about Abdu Rozik.
Who is Abdu Rozik?
Abdu Rozik is a Tajikistan singer and performer. The singer came to the limelight with his song ‘Ohi Dili Zor’. Abdu also owns a YouTube channel namedAvlod Media and it features over 580k subscribers. The singer enjoys a fanbase of 3.5 million on Instagram. Reportedly Salman confirmed that Abdu is over 18 years old and is eligible to be a participant in Bigg Boss 16.
Family
The Tajikistan singer was born in September 2003 to a garderner’s family. His father and mother are both gardeners. Not much information is known about his siblings.

Abdu Rozik, who holds the record of being the world’s smallest singer is a pure non-vegetarian.
Rare Disease
In childhood, Abdu was detected with rickets, a growth hormone deficiency. However, due to the financial crisis, his parents could not afford to provide him with the necessary treatment. As a result, his growth was stunted.
Career
He started his career at the age of six. He lent his voice to many Tajikistani songs like Ohi Dili Zor, Chaki Chaki Boron, and Modar. In 2021, he shared a video of him singing Enna Sona from the movie OK Jaanu and was invited to IIFA that was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE. There he sang the Hindi song Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, dedicating to Salman Khan. The actor was highly impressed and hugged him at the event.

MMA Fighter
For the unversed, Abdu has also particiapted in a few MMA fights with dwarf players. In 2021, the Russian TikToker and MMA Fighter Hasbulla challenged him for for a MMA fight. However, the Russian Dwarf Athletic Association did not approve of the same and called it unethical.
