Bigg Boss 16: The Salman Khan hosted reality show Bigg Boss 16 reached towards its final showdown. The top 5 finalists- Shalin Bhanot, Shiv Thakare, Archana Gautam, MC Stan, and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary will battle it out for the trophy on February 12.
Meanwhile, yesterday’s episode saw filmmaker Rohit Shetty enters the BB house to choose the first contestant for his stunt based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 13.
The BB 16 finalists were tested to their limitations by performing death-defying acrobatics on a bicycle, holding their breath underwater, avoiding electric shocks, and confronting their anxieties. Ultimately, it was Shalin Bhanot who won a direct ticket to Rohit Shetty hosted show.
Shalin Bhanot turns down Rohit Shetty’s offer of Khatron Ke Khiladi 13
Rohit Shetty then declared Shalin Bhanot’s name as the first Khatron Ke Khiladi season 13 competitor. Shalin, on the other hand, rejected to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi season 13. Later, when he exited the show, Rohit stated that there will be more than one Bigg Boss 16 contestant in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13.
Shalin Bhanot debuted in Roadies 2 and has since been in a number of popular shows like Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar, Kulvuddhu, Kaajjal, Grihasti, Suryaputra Karn, Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush, Naagin 4, Do Hanson Ka Jodaa, Nach Baliye, and Yeh Hai Aashiqui. He is now imprisoned inside Bigg Boss 16’s home.
According to reports, Shalin Bhanot will begin filming for Ekta Kapoor’s show soon after his stint on Bigg Boss 16. According to sources, Ekta is planning to recreate the iconic fantasy film Beauty and the Beast in Hindi, and the cast has been finalised. Along with Shalin, Eisha Singh from Ishq Subhan Allah will reportedly portray the female protagonist in the show.
