Aditya Dhar’s best day ever

The film has also created a new milestone for director Aditya Dhar. His earlier film Uri: The Surgical Strike had a highest single day collection of Rs 17.17 crore. Dhurandhar beat that by a huge margin, earning Rs 44.80 crore in one day, the biggest day of his career so far.

One of 2025’s biggest openers

Among all films released in 2025, Dhurandhar is one of the top performers. It recorded the second highest first Sunday collection of the year with Rs 44.80 crore, just behind Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava (Rs 49.03 crore). It also earned Rs 33.10 crore on its first Saturday, making it the second biggest Saturday opening of 2025.

Ranveer Singh’s highest single day collection

A major highlight is Ranveer Singh’s personal record. The film earned Rs 44.80 crore on its first Sunday, which is the highest single day collection of his career. This beat his earlier best of Rs 32 crore from Padmaavat.

Strong hold on weekdays

While big weekends are expected, Dhurandhar surprised everyone with its weekday performance. On its first Tuesday, the film collected Rs 28.60 crore, the highest first Tuesday total of 2025. By the end of its first week, the film had already crossed Rs 207.25 crore.

Record breaking second sunday

On its second Sunday, the film collected Rs 59 crore, which is the highest second-Sunday collection ever in Hindi cinema. This broke the earlier record held by Pushpa 2 at Rs 54 crore. It also beat the Day 10 collections of films like Jawan, Stree 2, Animal, and Pushpa 2.

Biggest second weekend ever

Dhurandhar has also created history with its second weekend. Earlier, Pushpa 2: The Rule held the record with Rs 127 crore. Dhurandhar crossed that comfortably by earning Rs 140 crore+ in its second weekend.

A confirmed blockbuster

In just 10 days, Dhurandhar has earned Rs 351 crore at the Indian box office. Its second weekend alone brought in around Rs 144 crore, the highest ever for any Indian film. The second weekend included Rs 32.5 crore on Friday, Rs 53 crore on Saturday, and Rs 59 crore on Sunday.

Still going strong

Released on December 5, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Soumya Trivedi. Produced by Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under B62 Studios along with Jio Studios’ Jyoti Deshpande, the film’s box office run is far from over.
