Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter are the lead stars of the much-awaited upcoming Netflix series ‘The Royals. The series which is set in the royal backdrop of Morpur, will premiere on May 9 and is produced by Pritish Nandy.
Bhumi Pednekar Talks About Her Experience With Intimate Scenes
Bhumi Pednekar played character named, Sophia Kanmani Shekhar, an ambitious CEO in The Royals. Recently while promoting her series, she reflected on the preparation required for her intimate moments with co-star Ishaan Khatter. In a conversation with Zoom, Bhumi revealed that she and Ishaan went for many intimacy workshops to ensure comfort and professionalism on set.
“We went through intimacy workshops and spent a fair amount of time just being with each other. Ishaan knows a lot about my life, and vice versa, which created a lot of comfort,” she explained.
Ishaan Khatter’s Role In Making Bhumi Feel Comfortable
Bhumi further credited Ishaan for his efforts in making her feel comfortable while filming intimate scenes. “He made sure I was comfortable. We went through those processes because there was already a lot of trust,” she shared. The actress further added that their bond of trust played an important role in creating a relaxed and safe atmosphere on set.

What Bhumi Pednekar Enjoyed The Most About Working With Ishaan
Bhumi also expressed her liking for the unspoken moments between her and Ishaan. “What I enjoyed the most with Ishaan is our silences. You can’t rehearse that. It can’t be written, it just happens,” she said.
