Bhool Chuk Maaf and Kesari Veer competed in theatres last week but Rajkummar Rao’s comedy film has been leading. Bhool Chuk Maaf, starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, is a romantic comedy film with a time loop twist. Meanwhile, Kesari Veer, starring Sooraj Pancholi and Suniel Shetty, is a historical war film. Check how much both the films have earned in theatres till now.
Bhool Chuk Maaf Vs Kesari Veer Box Office Collection Day 7:
According to Sacnilk, Bhool Chuk Maaf collected Rs 3.25 crore on day 7 as per the early estimates. The movie has earned Rs 44 crore in total. Meanwhile, Kesari Veer is struggling in theatres and has barely managed to cross Rs 1.53 crore in total. It earned only Rs 14 lakhs on day 7.
Bhool Chuk Maaf was scheduled to release on OTT on May 16 but later arrived in theatres on May 23. The movie will release on Prime Video after theatre. It also stars Sanjay Mishra, Seema Bhargava Pahwa, Zakir Hussain Raghubir Yadav, Ishtiyak Khan, Anubha Fateh Puria, Jay Thakkar and Pragati Mishra seen in the pivotal roles.
The movie was earlier in the controversy after the makers decided to release the film directly on OTT. However, PVRInox sent a legal notice to Maddock Films and Pen Marudhar after the makers opted for direct streaming. For the unversed, Maddock Films took the decision of releasing Bhool Chuk Maaf directly on OTT in the light of recent situation and the heightened security drills across the country.
Meanwhile, Kesari Veer stars Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Sooraj Pancholi and Akanksha Sharma. The movie is written and produced by Chauhan Studios.
