Kartik Aaryan is proving himself to be a force to be reckoned with, competing against senior actors and coming out on top. His new film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, was released alongside Rohit Shetty’s directorial Singham Again, which boasts a stellar cast comprising Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone, among others. Shetty’s film occupied 60 per cent of the screens in most theatres, leaving Kartik’s starrer with only 40 per cent. But despite that, he is giving neck-to-neck competition to the other film.

On Day 4, the horror-comedy minted approximately Rs 17.5 crore (early estimates), whereas the action-drama by Ajay also managed to get the same figures, as reported by Sacnilk. Both films managed to fight against the Monday blues and pull audiences to the theatres. Due to a working day after a long Diwali break, a significant fall at the box office was expected. However, Singham Again, as well as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, managed a decent footfall in the evening shows.

On Sunday, the collections of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again were Rs 33.5 crore and Rs 37.5 crore, respectively.

About Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

With this film, Kartik Aaryan has become the first actor of this generation to cross the 100-crore mark within three days – the first weekend. Taking to his Instagram, he shared box office figures and also posted a video from outside Gaiety Galaxy, holding a board that reads ‘Housefull’. The film is getting extra attention and love from people because of the two stars – Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit joining the bandwagon. While Madhuri is a new entrant in the franchise, Vidya has reprised her role of Manjulika from the first instalment.

A Shift Towards BJP's Aggressive Hindutva Amid Opposition's Leadership Crisis

The Maharashtra election may further push the Congress down as it has lost the election at a time when it needed a win most desperately. Though the Congress succeeded in pushing the BJP to a corner and stopping it at less than a majority on its own, it failed to make any headway further.
