Bholaa Box Office Preview: Ajay Devgn is getting ready for the March 30 release of Bholaa (3D), his high-profile action comedy. Following the huge box office success of Drishyam 2, Bholaa reunites Ajay and Tabu. It is being released with high expectations from the trade. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given the movie its U/A certification; it has a 144.49-minute approved runtime (2 hour 24 minutes).

Screen Count

Bholaa is aiming for a release on about 4000 screens throughout India while screen booking is still ongoing. The film will be showcased in 3D in national chains and 2D elsewhere. The team has gone ahead with a pricing plan similar to Drishyam 2 i.e. popular pricing.

Box office prediction

The Bholaa advances began in premium versions two weeks ago, though all formats began on Sunday morning, four days before the film’s release.

PVR leads from the front by selling 6200 tickets, followed by Inox at 2900 and Cinepolis at 2500 as of Tuesday at 10 a.m. Bholaa has sold approximately 11,600 tickets in the three national chains, PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. Until and unless there is a significant increase in demand on the final day of bookings, the film will aim for a final advance in the range of 35,000 to 40,000 in the three chains. The film will benefit from the Ram Navami holiday, which should result in a larger-than-normal walk-in audience, particularly in the mass belts.

Bholaa Box Office Preview

Bholaa should aim for a double-digit launch since that would set the stage for the movie to profit from the two-week window of opportunity between April 7 (Good Friday) and April 14 during the holiday (Mahaveer & Ambedkar Jayanti). The beginning is a little slower than anticipated. There is enough in the movie to make up for it; all it requires is for the audience to have a good time.
