Box Office Collection
Bholaa received positive reviews from both audiences and critics on 30 March. According to Box Office India, Bholaa had a little reaction in the morning show but fared better in the pockets of the crowd. Despite underperforming in major cities like Mumbai and Delhi as well as in the southern regions, Bholaa has minted more than Rs 10 crore thanks to Ram Navami’s holiday.
BOI reported, “Bholaa put up a decent first day total of around of around Rs 10 crore nett plus thanks to a holiday in parts of the country and a decent performave in current after a dull advance. Some of the mass circuits suggest a higher total but is likely to be compensated by a lower ratio of business coming from South and Maharashtra which wil have low numbers. There is no holiday in South outside Nizam / Andhra but that had a big local release.”

It further reported, “The film did not look reaching these numbers in the morning but due to good performance in mass pockets it has managed to get there. The circuit ratios will be similar to Samraat Prithviraj though as Bholaa has a 3D version there is higher contribution at multiplexes compared to Samraat Prithviraj. Figures of cities in UP and Rajasthan are less than Samraat Prithviraj on day one but still good and its about going on from here which Prithviraj Samraat could not really do.”
