Bhojpuri film industry and politics star Pawan Singh is once again in the headlines for negative reasons, as his personal life has once again become a topic of public debate.
His wife Jyoti Singh recently shared an extremely emotional post on social media, in which she accused Pawan of ignoring her and not communicating. In this post, Jyoti told that she has been trying to contact her husband for several months, but Pawan did not respond to any of her calls or messages.
“I have been trying to talk to you for several months about some family and political issues, but you or the people around you have perhaps not deemed it appropriate to reply to my calls and messages,” she wrote.

According to Jyoti, she traveled to Lucknow and Dehri with the intention of meeting Pawan during the Chhath festival, but Pawan refused to meet her. She says that Pawan only asked to meet in Lucknow, and this decision was taken as per the “boss’s instructions”. She also said that her father also tried to meet Pawan two months ago, but there was no positive result.
Expressing her pain, Jyoti said, “What grave offence have I committed that I am being punished like this? If I am not worthy of you, you could have just left me. There was no need to give me false hope during the Lok Sabha elections.”
She further clarified her emotional state and wrote, “Today, you have given me no other choice than to self-immolate, but I cannot even do that because the questions will always be raised against me and my parents.”
Jyoti also wrote while speaking her heart out, “I am your family, yet it hurts me when you embrace those who once spoke harshly against you, but when I share my pain, my own family doesn’t even acknowledge me.”
After seven years of struggle, she called this post her “last appeal” and requested to establish a dialogue with Pawan. “So this is my final plea to you at the end of 7 years of struggle. Nowadays, I have begun to hate my life. Come and talk to me, respond to my calls and messages, try to understand my pain for once,” he signed off.
The post came after a video went viral on social media in which Pawan Singh was seen inappropriately touching his co-star Anjali Raghav’s waist during a public event in Lucknow. The incident took place during the promotion of his new song ‘Saiyan Sewa Kare’, in which Anjali was also present. In the video, Anjali, who was dressed in a golden coloured saree, is clearly seen uncomfortable with Pawan Singh’s actions when he touches her waist on the pretext of removing something.
