New Delhi: The Bhojpuri industry was shaken by the tragic news of the death of Akanksha Dubey. The actress was found dead in a hotel in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Akanksha, 25, who made her debut in Meri Jung Mera Faisla, has committed suicide.

Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Durvey was reportedly in Varanasi to film her next project. After filming, the actress went to Sarnath Hotel and was found dead in her room. Police have started an investigation into the incident.

Hours before Akanksha was found dead in a hotel, she had shared a video showing off her belly dancing skills in her Bhojpuri song Hilore Mare. The tragic news of her death came on the day of the release of her music video Ye Aara Kabhi Hara Nahi, in which she is paired with Pawan Singh.

Before commtting suicide, the Bhojpuri actress came live on Instagram and It seems that it was out of order. A short video clip shared on social media shows Akanksha crying while covering her mouth.

The actress was reportedly staying with other film units at the Hotel Somendra in Sarnath, Varanasi. On Sunday morning, when she didn’t come out of her room for the first time in a while, the hotel staff became suspicious and alerted the film crew. When the unit and hotel staff opened the door, the actress was found hanging in her room.
The Sarnath police arrived on the scene and started an investigation. The body has been sent for an autopsy, and police are questioning people associated with the film unit. Akanksha Dubey’s family has also been notified.
