Bheed, released on March 24, highlights the plight of migrant workers who moved from cities to their hometowns during the initial coronavirus lockdown. It follows several characters as they navigate the early stages of the 2020 nationwide lockdown caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bheed is a social drama starring Dia Mirza, Ashutosh Rana, Pankaj Kapur and Kritika Kamra in major roles. The film, which had a poor start on its opening day, remained sluggish on day 8, and March 31. According to initial estimates, the film is struggling to reach just Rs 500 crore.
About Bheed
The film is about the 2020 Covid-19 shutdown. It emphasises the difficulties that migrant labourers encountered during those trying times. Anubhav Sinha, widely known for films such as Thappad and Anek, directs the film.
Bhumi Pedkenar plays the lead in the film. Ashutosh Rana and Pankaj Kapur are among the cast members. The film will be released in theatres on March 24.
