Beyoncé’s much anticipated Cowboy Carter tour, marking her big return to the stage is now struggling with ticket sales just days before it begins. The singer is set to perform 22 shows across the US, UK, and France, but many tickets remain unsold even after prices dropped sharply.
According to reports, tickets for some shows in the US have decreased to 75% and dropped to as low as $20, down from the original price of $85. Fans online joked that tickets are now cheaper than McDonald’s new Minecraft meal, which costs over $21. Some social media users mocked the situation wondering how the large number of tickets are still available for opening night in Los Angeles.

However Beyoncé fans pointed out that during her previous tour, ticket sales also picked up closer to the start date. Others explained that the $20 tickets were mostly resale prices, and Beyoncé’s team had already earned their profits from the original sales.
The Cowboy Carter tour officially begins on April 28 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles with 5 consecutive shows there Beyoncé will perform in Chicago, New Jersey, London, Paris, Houston, Maryland, and Atlanta. The tour will wrap up with two final performances in Las Vegas on July 25 and 26.
Beyoncé’s last tour, the Renaissance World Tour in 2023, moved over 2.7 million tickets but still left many fans unable to grab tickets.
