Popular television show CID made a comeback with its highly anticipated second season. However, it is currently in the headlines for another reason after the iconic character ACP Pradyuman was killed. Shivaji Satam, who played Pradyuman, also confirmed his exit from CID and Parth Samthaan is all set to join the show as the new ACP.

Gia Manek gained massive popularity after she starred in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya as Gopi Bahu. She was reportedly made to leave the show after she decided to participate in dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa’. Her character Gopi Bahu is still popular despite the show being off-air and is relevent in meme culture among youngsters. Devoleena Bhattacharjee later replaced her as protagonists.
Shilpa Shinde
Shilpa Shinde has been a part of television industry for many years but her fans remember her from the character Angoori Bhabhi in the popular sitcom ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!’. She was replaced by Shubhangi Atre in the show reportedly due to some disagreement with the producers.
Sidharth Shukla
Sidharth Shukla was replaced by Rohan Gandotra in Colors TV’s popular show Dil Se Dil Tak. Earlier, while speaking to Bombay Times, he revealed that he decided to leave the show as he was not satisfied with his character. He said, “I wasn’t happy with the way my character was shaping up and the track didn’t pan out as I was promised. I had a meeting with the producer and we decided to part ways mutually.” There were also rumours that Sidharth had rift with his co-star Rashami Desai.
Pratyusha Banerjee
Pratyusha Banerjee gained huge fame after she joined Balika Vadhu as an adult Anandi. She reportedly left the show due to hectic schedules, mother’s heath and other personal reason. Toral Rasputra replaced her Anandi in Balika Vadhu.
Shehzada Dhami
Shehzada Dhami was reportedly removed from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai due to alleged unprfessional behaviour on set. However, Shehzada claimed that he was kicked out of the show after producer Rajan Shahi mistreated him.
