New Delhi: Barkha Singh has been receiving a lot of praises for adapting to unique avatars for her projects. Be it Antara in 36 Farmhouse or Aisha in Masaba Masaba 2 which got her wide appreciation from the audiences.

Barkha will be seen amusing them yet again with her character Maahi in The Great Wedding of Munnes.

Recently the makers dropped the trailer of the show and it looks quirky. Viewers are looking forward to unfold the chemistry between Barkha and Abhishek on-screen.

Talking about the same Barkha mentioned, “Even though Abhishek has cast me on shows through Casting Bay, we have never met before this. The first time I met him was in Mathura for shooting this show because they had already started shooting and I joined the schedule a little later, it was an absolute blast. We got along very well, better than I expected. Had a lot of give and take as actors because he is also someone who loves last-minute improvisations and I absolutely enjoyed it! We became great friends through the schedule. (Ambien) ”

Barkha further added, “We both as actors like having fun with the scene and we like to explore more than what is written in the script. Certain suggestions get shot -down and certain suggestions are also taken. Working with Abhishek was a lot of fun and we played- off each other’s energy and I hope that it also translates in the show.”

About The Great Wedding of Munnes

Munnes (Abhishek Banerjee), who is having trouble finding a bride for himself, falls in love with Mahi (Barkha Singh). He wants to marry her. But their love story is hampered by a prophecy from a priest on their wedding day. Now whether the duo will be able to get hitched together becomes the plot of the show.\
