Sunny Deol: Amid all the good news coming for Sunny Deol after the huge success of the film ‘Gadar 2’, a negative development is just coming in for him. According to the news, due to the inability of the actor to repay the loan taken by the Bank of Baroda, it was announced an auction of his property i.e. ‘Sunny Villa’. However, the action has now been put on hold.
Sunny Deol had reportedly taken a loan of Rs 56 crores from the Bank of Baroda, which he could not repay following which, the bank issued an advertisement to auction the property of Gadar Actor. The reserve price of the property has been kept at Rs 51.43 crore by the bank. However, within 24 hours, the bank changed its mind and put a stay on the auction, which is a relief to Sunny Deol.
Dharmendra was guarantor
According to information coming in through the media, Sunny’s father Dharmendra was named guarantor for the loan. On August 20, a notice for recovery of loan and interest was sent to the actor, after which it was reported that the actor’s property would be auctioned by the bank.
Gadar 2 crossed the 300 crore mark in ten days
Sunny’s film Gadar 2 has crossed the impressive figure of Rs 377.20 crore within 10 days of its release. Currently, the actor is enjoying the success of his film a lot these days.
