New Delhi: Alia Bhatt recently resorted to Instagram to blast paparazzi for photographing her when she was inside her home. It was a ‘infringement of privacy,’ according to the actress. She was photographed sitting inside her home.
It was captured using a zoom lens from an adjacent building. Alia had also tagged the Mumbai Police in her post. Bandra Police took notice and promptly contacted the actress, requesting that she make a case.
Bandra Police contacts Alia Bhatt over invasion of privacy at home
Numerous celebrities spoke out in favour of Alia Bhatt, recalling similar incidents in which paparazzi invaded their privacy. Alia has now been approached by Bandra Police on the matter. They had a telephone talk about it. The actress was asked to submit a complaint with the police. However, Alia stated that her public relations team is in contact with the portal that released her images. She will decide on future action and then contact the police.

Alia Bhatt, who seldom lashes out at people, took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “Are you kidding me? I was at my house, having a perfectly normal afternoon, sitting in my living room when I felt something watching over me. I looked up and saw two men on the terrace of the neighbouring building with a camera right at me. In what world is this okay and is this allowed? This is a gross invasion of someone’s privacy. There’s a line that you must not cross, and it is safe to say that all lines were crossed today (sic).” She also shared the pictures that were clicked of her.
