Baby Reindeer, Shogun and Mr Loverman lead the winners at BAFTA TV Awards 2025. See full winners list and key highlights.

The BAFTA TV Awards, 2025 turned into a glamorous night filled with power stars, emotional moments and some well-deserved wins. It was held in London to celebrate the very best of British television, with 29 awards handed out to the winners.

Many shows were there who received the award but Mr Loverman was the only production to win two awards, standing out among the intense competition.

A Glamourous Night With Emotional Tributes

The show which was hosted by Scottish actor ‘Alan Cumming’ began with a fun Traitors-inspired skit that set a light-hearted mood.

One of the evening’s most memorable and touching moments came during the ‘In Memoriam’ segment. Known singer Esther Abrami performed live as a tribute to the late stars like Linda Nolan and The Vivienne sending the audience to tears.

Top Winners Of The Night

  • Drama Series: Blue Lights (BBC) was crowned Best Drama Series.
  • Limited Drama: Mr Bates vs the Post Office (ITV) took home the award.
  • International: Shogun (Disney+) won in the International category.
  • Leading Actor: Lennie James won for his role in Mr Loverman (BBC).
  • Leading Actress: Marisa Abela got the award for Industry (BBC).
  • Supporting Actor: Ariyon Bakare added to Mr Loverman’s success.
  • Supporting Actress: Jessica Gunning was honoured for Baby Reindeer (Netflix).
  • Entertainment Performance: Joe Lycett won for Late Night Lycett (Channel 4).

In comedy category, Ruth Jones got the Best Female Performance for Gavin & Stacey, while Danny Dyer won Best Male Performance for Mr Big Stuff. Talking about factual entertainment, Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour (BBC) won big and To Catch a Copper (Channel 4) got the Factual Series award. Up-next, The Jury: Murder Trial (Channel 4) took the Reality category.

Memorable Moments From BAFTA TV Awards 2025

The P&O Cruises Memorable Moment award went to Strictly Come Dancing for the touching waltz by Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell. Glastonbury 2024 was named Best Live Event Coverage, while BBC Breakfast: Post Office Special took News Coverage honours.
