Baby John Box Office Collection Day 11:
According to the website Sacnilk, ‘Baby John’ collected Rs 0.80 crore on day 11 as per early estimates. The movie has collected Rs 37.75 crore only within 11 days.
Keerthy made her much-awaited Bollywood debut with ‘Baby John’. In an interview with Galatta India, Keerthy revealed that Samantha Ruth Prabhu recommended her name for ‘Baby John’. She shared, “She probably had me in mind when this was happening; that’s what Varun also told me. I can’t be grateful enough for that. It’s so sweet of her to say, ‘Keerthy will be able to pull off this character.’ Her performance in Theri is one of my favourites in Tamil. Honestly, I was very scared.”
‘Baby John’ is an adaptation of the Tamil movie ‘Theri’, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Keerthy Suresh recently posted several pictures with the star cast of ‘Baby John’ and shared some behind the scene footage. She wrote, “Couldn’t have asked for better people to share this ride with #BabyJohn Big smiles and GOOD VIBES ONLY.”
In an interview with India Today, Varun clarified that ‘Baby John’ is not the remake of the hit Tamil film ‘Theri’ but an adaptation. He shared, “When Atlee came with this film, there was a reason behind it, and he said that we had to change a lot of the geography of the film. We have to use it as an adaptation and not really a proper remake, and I think that’s what’s done.”

He added, “Like you see, a lot of the frames and a lot of the story angles are different. So, if someone comes in expecting a book-by-book remake, they will be disappointed because that’s not what the film is. It’s an adaptation. We’re not running away from that, but it’s more of an adaptation”
‘Baby John’ also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Zara Zyanna and Jackie Shroff.
