Responding to these rumors, Dutta issued an official statement calling them “utterly ridiculous” and stating that there’s no truth to them. She expressed her refusal to waste her energy and attention on such fake news.

She said “Utterly ridiculous! There’s not an ounce of truth to any of this. I refuse to waste my energy and attention on such fake news.”

According to the report by News18, Munmun and Raj’s engagement occurred only a few days ago. It stated that both families have accepted their relationship and were present at the ceremony in Vadodara, Gujarat.

Despite Raj’s departure from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in December 2022, Munmun Dutta continues to portray the character of Babita in the sitcom.
