Filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who created history with Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, has brought the story back to theatres as Baahubali: The Epic. The film stars Prabhas in double roles along with Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, Nassar, and Subbaraju.
This 2025 Telugu epic action film is a re-edited and remastered version that combines both parts of the original saga into one movie, featuring upgraded visuals, sound, and a few never seen before scenes.
The film is once again doing well in theatres let’s take a look at its box office collection.
Baahubali The Epic Box Office Collection Day 2:
Baahubali: The Epic has opened to an impressive start at the box office. The film earned Rs 1.15 crore from its Thursday previews (Day 0). On its first Friday (Day 1), it witnessed a massive jump, collecting Rs 9.65 crore across languages, with the Telugu version contributing Rs 7.9 crore, followed by Rs 1.35 crore from Hindi, Rs 0.2 crore from Tamil, Rs 0.18 crore from Malayalam, and Rs 0.02 crore from Kannada.
Early estimates suggest that the film added another Rs 7 crore on Day 2 (Saturday), taking its total box office collection to Rs 17.8 crore in just three days.
More About the Baahubali Series
Part 1, ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ was released in 2015 and became a massive success. At the time of its release, the movie became the highest-grossing Telugu film and the second-highest-grossing Indian film worldwide.
Its second part, ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, was released in 2017 and was also a blockbuster. At the 65th National Film Awards, the movie bagged Best Stunt Choreography, Best Special Effects and Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.
