Baahubali Returns! SS Rajamouli’s Epic Part 1 Set For A Grand Theatrical Re-Release!

The makers of 'Baahubali' have announced plans to re-release the epic film series in theaters as the first part mark its 10th anniversary in 2025.

SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster epic “Baahubali” is set to re release on the big screen, nearly a decade after its release. With 2025 marking the 10th anniversary of the first part producer Shobu Yarlagadda made the announcement, planning not just a re-release but promises new reveals and special surprises for fans. This will give audiences another chance to watch the epic story on the big screen.

Shobu took to Instagram sharing a poster of Baahubali, announced the grand re-release of the film to celebrate “10 years of epicness.” He wrote, “And on this special day, I am thrilled to inform you all that we are planning an Indian and international re-release of @BaahubaliMovie in October this year. It won’t just be a re-release; it will be a year of celebration for our beloved fans! Expect nostalgia, new reveals, and a few epic surprises along the way. Stay tuned! #ReliveTheEpic! #BaahubaliReturns.”

Baahubali: The Beginning was released in 2015 became a major milestone for Indian cinema, followed by the record shattering success of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in 2017. Featuring Prabhas in a dual role alongside Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, and Nassar, the film became an instant phenomenon, earning ₹650 crore worldwide.

Its sequel, “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion,” was released in 2017 which shattered all previous records, earning ₹1788.06 crore globally and ₹1030.42 crore domestically setting new benchmarks for Indian cinema.
