This Friday, Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt and Harnaaz Sandhu starrer action film ‘Baaghi 4’ and Vivek Agnihotri’s political drama ‘The Bengal Files’ hit the theatres. While ‘Baaghi 4’ attracted the audience with tremendous action and star power, ‘The Bengal Files’ landed with a political narrative. However, early figures indicate that ‘Baaghi 4’ has taken the lead at the box office.
5th Day Earnings: ‘Baaghi 4’ Maintains Momentum
According to Sacnilk, the film earned around ₹4 crore on its fifth day i.e. Tuesday, which is slightly less than Monday’s ₹4.5 crore.
The film had an opening of ₹12 crore on Friday, after which it did a business of ₹19.25 crore on Saturday and Sunday combined. Adding Tuesday’s collections, the total net collection in India has reached ₹39.75 crores so far, and it is just one step away from the ₹40 crore mark.
Audience Attendance In Theatres
The film’s total Hindi occupancy on September 10 was 21.71%, which was better than the 15.56% of the fourth day. The attendance was 9.15% in the morning show, 18.38% in the afternoon, 22.59% in the evening and 36.72% in the night.
Status Of ‘The Bengal Files’
On the other hand, ‘The Bengal Files’ has not even touched the ₹10 crore mark yet. On Monday, the film earned ₹1.15 crores, which increased slightly on Tuesday to ₹1.29 crores. Its total collection so far has been ₹9.19 crores.
Story Of The Film
The story of ‘Baaghi 4’ revolves around Ronnie, who is caught between reality and illusion. As he realizes the truth and finds out that his girlfriend has been brutally killed, the story takes a new turn.
‘Baaghi 4’ is currently holding well at the box office and it will be interesting to see if it will be able to cross the ₹ 40 crore mark soon. At the same time, ‘The Bengal Files’ will have to work harder to reach double digit collections.
