Avengers Doomsday Update: Marvel has an exciting slate of movies and web series releasing in next three to four years. Among these projects, ‘Avengers Doomsday’ has been creating the most hype as Robert Downey Jr will return to the MCU. The actor will essay the role of Doctor Doomsday, an iconic villain in the Marvel comics.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, The Russo Brothers shared an exciting update about Avengers Doomsday. Joe Russo shared, “I think these movies are going to be a surprise to people. We found a way into the story that’s very exciting to us. But we think it’s very radical. I think it’s going to challenge audiences.” Anthony Russo revealed that they are shooting both the movies back to back.
He added, “It’s a lot of work again, we may or may not survive, we’ll see. We’re very excited about it, we found a way into the story that we think is going to be challenging for audiences, and challenging for us to execute. It’s really exciting to us, it gets us out of bed to do it.”
Meanwhile, Marvel is also working on Spider-Man 4. It was earlier announced that Spider-Man 4 will release in cinemas in July 2026 but the release date has now been postponed. But fans won’t have to worry as the movie has only been moved to a week later.
According to a report by Deadline, Spider-Man 4 will release in theatres worldwide on July 31, 2026. Earlier, the movie was scheduled to release on July 24, 2026, but the makers decided to postpone it because Tom Holland and Zendaya’s movie ‘The Odyssey’ with Christopher Nolan is slated to arrive on July 17.

Meanwhile, there has been no updates on the return of Jon Favreau and Jacob Batalon in the film. Marisa Tomei won’t return as her character Aunt May died in the previous movie. Nothing has been revealed about its plot.
