On Day 6, the sci-fi film saw a small increase in earnings. According to Sacnilk, it collected around Rs 10.25 crore on Wednesday, taking its total India collection to Rs 95.75 crore.

While the film hasn’t been able to compete with Dhurandhar in India, its performance is still considered decent. Its best day so far was the first Sunday (Day 3). Since then, it has continued to earn stable numbers on weekdays.

The film recorded an overall English occupancy of 26.93% on Day 6 (December 24), showing that audiences are still turning up despite strong competition.
Worldwide box office collection
Globally, Avatar: Fire and Ash is doing very well. As per Box Office Mojo, the film has crossed USD 450 million worldwide, proving the strong global pull of the Avatar franchise.
Dhurandhar still leads in India
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar continues to rule the Indian box office. On its 20th day, the Aditya Dhar film earned about Rs 17.5 crore, taking its total India collection to Rs 607.25 crore.

Avatar: Fire and Ash is the third film in James Cameron’s Avatar series, after Avatar (2009) and Avatar: The Way of Water (2023). Two more films are already planned, with Avatar 4 and Avatar 5 expected to release in 2029 and 2031.
