Avatar 2 box office collection Day 15: Avatar: The Way of Water has already broken the record for the fastest movie to earn $1 billion at the global box office. The December 16, 2022, release of the James Cameron film brought in over Rs. 300 crores just in India.
The movie has eclipsed Ranveer Singh’s Cirkus, which was released over the holiday season. On Friday, December 30, the movie allegedly made Rs. 10.50 crore, bringing its total to over Rs. 304 crores.

According to sources, Avatar is close to surpassing Avengers Endgame as the highest-grossing foreign picture in India. In India, Avengers Endgame brought in 373 crore rupees. Avatar: The Way of Water fell short of Endgame’s opening weekend total in India by less than Rs 40 crore. But if the pattern holds, it will probably surpass Endgame’s revenue in the coming week.
