Audiences’ Expectations Don’t Scare Me, Says Telugu Cinema’s Youngest Superstar Teja Sajja

Teja Sajja, who has not changed even a bit after stardom, says he is in a secure place.

Post the smash success of HanuMan, the very likeable Teja Sajja is ready with his next. Mirai, directed by Karthik Gattamneni, has garnered terrific pre-release attention for its looks and songs.

Teja Sajja, who has not changed even a bit after stardom, says he is in a secure place. “To be very honest, Sir, I am not scared by what audiences expect from me. If I begin thinking of what the expectations are, I would never be able to work with an easy mind. In Mirai I’ve done my best. Given whatever I could. Now it will go out in the world. Hopefully, audiences will give Mirai the same love that they gave to HanuMan.”

Says Teja, “That was a real surprise to all of us. The Hindi audiences didn’t even know me. They still came to see HanuMan. Now they know me a bit… or do they? HanuMan was more than a year ago. They may have forgotten me by now. And that could be an advantage. They can watch Mirai with a fresh unbiased mind. And they won’t be disappointed.”

Mirai is an adventure story.

“It is as original and unseen as HanuMan. Audiences have never seen anything like Mirai,” says Teja.

For the Hindi version of Mirai, the team is tying up with Karan Johar and Dharma Production.

“We want to maximize our reach, ensure that Mirai is seen in every part of the country, and even outside. The rest depends on the content,” says Teja Sajja.
