The highly anticipated film Jawan, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and more, turned out to be a massive blockbuster. Owing to its stellar performance at the box office, director Atlee Kumar is high in the glory of its success. Speaking of, in a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Atlee revealed that the film was ‘only made for SRK.’
While interviewing with the entertainment portal, Atlee shared memories of his venture while filming Jawan. He shared insights on working with Shah Rukh Khan and his relationship with Thalapathy Vijay.
When asked if ‘Jawan’ was always intended as a Hindi film starring Shah Rukh Khan, and if he discussed the script with his frequent collaborator Thalapathy Vijay, Atlee responded emphatically, “Jawan is only made for Shah Rukh Khan. I didn’t have a second thought about who was going to do it.” He further added that from day one, he discussed the script, scenes, and progress with Vijay sir.

While talking about his bond with Thalapathy, he said, “He is like a brother to me. And we are very serious about what we do in life.” Adding on, Atlee disclosed that Vijay would share insights from his projects, and I would reciprocate. He was a guiding force, especially regarding ‘Jawan,’ but it was always meant for Shah Rukh.
The film Jawan made its grand entrance into cinemas on the 7th of September, creating waves not only in Hindi but also in Tamil and Telugu languages. The flick has already proven to be a triumph, captivating audiences and dominating the box office.
