New Delhi: An alleged video from a London strip club went viral on the internet recently, causing Athiya Shetty and her cricketer husband KL Rahul to draw flak from netizens. There have been reports that KL Rahul and Athiya were seen in a strip club together. A clarification was issued later on social media by the actress. In her message, she requested that people not take things out of context. Following her viral statement, fans rallied behind her.
Athiya Shetty issues clarification
KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty give major couple goals. Recently, a video surfaced online depicting the pair allegedly visiting a London strip club. Taking to her Instagram story, the actress wrote, "I usually choose to be silent and not react, but sometimes it’s important to stand up for yourself. Rahul, I and our friends went out to a regular place, as one does. Stop taking things out of context and check your facts before reporting. Peace and love (sic).”
Athiya Shetty, a daughter of Suniel Shetty, wed KL Rahul in January 2023. After three years of courtship, they were united in marriage in a little ceremony. The rituals were held at Suniel Shetty's estate in Khandala.
