Bigg Boss 13 fame and reality show star Asim Riaz has postponed the launch of his upcoming song due to the rising tensions between India and Pakistan. This decision comes after the Indian Armed Forces have carried out ‘Operation Sindoor’ and targeted nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Asim Riaz originally hails from Kashmir and last night he shared the update on his music video via an Instagram story.
Taking to Instagram, He wrote, “Due to current tension between two nations, I have decided to postpone my song release by a week. New date is 14 May. Some things are bigger than music. Prayers for peace and strength to all.”
Fans Praise Asim’s Sensitivity
His gesture has been well received by his fans, especially considering his emotional reaction to the recent terror attack happened in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
Previously, Asim had condemned this terror attack by writing, “A valley of beauty turned into a scene of horror. Kashmir cries tonight, and so do we.”
From Controversy To Compassion
However, Asim Riaz mainly make headlines regarding various controversies and the recent one was, for being evicted from the show Battleground due to a heated argument with Abhishek Malhan and Rubina Dilaik.
He initially gained audience through his appearance on Colors reality tv show, Bigg Boss, the show judged by renowned actor, Salman Khan. Asim came as a contestant in Bigg Boss season 13 alongside, Siddharth Shukla, Shehnaaz Gill, Mahira Sharma, Paras Chhabra etc.
