Ashneer Grover, the founder of BharatPe and a well-known personality from Shark Tank, has stirred up controversy after demanding comedian Aashish Solanki to cut a segment from a roast video in which he appeared. This move has sparked backlash on social media, with many criticizing Grover for his “dictatorial behavior.”

Ashneer Grover participated in Aashish Solanki’s ‘Pretty Good Roast Show’, where a clip of Solanki roasting Grover about his removal as managing director of BharatPe went viral.

He was featured in Aashish Solanki’s ‘Pretty Good Roast Show’, where a clip of Solanki roasting Grover about his removal as managing director of BharatPe in 2022 over alleged embezzlement of funds by his family members went viral.

The joke reportedly didn’t sit well with Grover, and Solanki claimed that the entrepreneur asked him to remove his segment from the episode as he was offended by the roast. In a new post on Twitter and Instagram, Solanki stated that the full episode was removed from YouTube because he did not have “money to fight a legal battle”.

While the video has been deleted from YouTube and Solanki’s Instagram page, it remains widely available, sparking outrage against the former Shark Tank judge. “Made Ashish delete the whole video. Peak Doglapan (hypocrite),” one user tweeted, referencing the term made famous by Grover during an episode of Shark Tank.
