About The Controversy:
Apoorva embroiled in the controversy after her appearance on Samay Raina’s dark humor show India’s Got Latent which led to legal scrutiny. She along with the other panelists including Samay, Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlan faced severe criticism after an offensive remark made by Ranveer and several FIRs were filed against them. The controversy escalated when the complaint were also filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women’s Commission for allegedly using abusive language on the show.
Ranveer Allahbadia aka BeerBiceps also made his comeback after his popular podcast was then put on hold for a while by the court after the backlash. More than a month after the backlash, he returned with a new podcast episode with Buddhist monk Palga Rinpoche on his YouTube channel.
